Class Representative At MIT, Manipal
I was elected as The Class Representative for the year 2015. My main role being a class rep was to gather views from my peers regarding various aspects of our course and to communicate those to members of staff.
I report back to my class mates the main points of discussions that took place at staff-student liaison and other meetings, and I also share information about any action that is decided as result of the discussion.
Elected Secretary for the Welfare Committee
I'm currently a Secretary for Welfare Committee, namely Green Star Club.
My Role as Secretary is to support the Chair in ensuring the smooth fuctioning of the Welfare Committee.
My Responsiblity as a Secretary are;
Ensuring meetings are effectively organised and minuted.
Maintaining effective records and administration.
Upholding the legal requirements of governing documents, charity law, company law etc
Communication and correspondance.
Won championship at IMB Hackathon
Including me, a group of 3 students along with a faculty won the IBM Hackathon 2015, held at Mangalore, India.
